About the mappack
When you enter our server and it runs a map you don't have, your game will download the missing files automatically, so in theory you don't have to do anything. However, this may take 5-8 minutes for the first time which is quite annoying when you really want to fight. To avoid such situation, we made a mappack file which contains all of the maps you may need when connecting to our server (look above for the download url).
Extracting
After downloading the pack, you will get a relatively large .7z file, which is a 7-Zip archive. To extract it you'll need any latest version of WinRAR or 7-Zip. If you have any of them installed, you will be able to extract these maps.
Extract the files to the Day of Defeat: Source installation directory which is C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\YOURSTEAMUSERNAME\day of defeat source by default. If you have some free disk space that won't hurt since extracting this file requires around 770 MiB additional space.
